1. Marketplace

Urban Kutir is an online marketplace. Sellers are independent residents; Urban Kutir is not the seller and does not prepare, pack or deliver products unless stated.

2. Eligibility

Users must be 18+ and residents of a partner society. Sellers must complete identity verification and, for food, hold FSSAI registration.

3. Orders, cancellation and refunds

Cancellation is free until the seller accepts. Custom items are non-cancellable once accepted. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–7 working days, or as store credit at your choice.

4. Fees

Platform and delivery fees are shown before payment and are the same for every payment method. Seller fee schedules are shown in the seller dashboard.

5. Disputes and grievances

Raise a dispute within 24 hours of handover from the order screen. Grievance Officer: [name], [email], [phone]. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 30 days; a ticket number is issued.

6. Prohibited

Alcohol, tobacco, medicines, items requiring licences the seller does not hold, and requests to pay off-platform inside the app.

7. Governing law

India; courts of Bengaluru.
